From SOULIVE to Setto Indigo Label

SOULIVE is a well-known clothing label in Japan. They renovate classic silhouettes with quality fabrics and color. Furthermore, they inject a lot of traditional Japanese styles and culture into their products. They also love to use patchwork on their jacket and denim collections. These designs are all made in Japan to ensure quality is up to standard.

In Aug 2019, SOULIVE has made the announcement of changing the brand name to Setto Indigo Label. Therefore, from the AW19 collection, all the products will feature Setto Indigo Label. They will keep focusing on indigo, denim and handcraft items.

In the previous collections, most of their products were in stunning blue color. Moreover, they pay attention into details, such as pattern lining, patchworks or vintage dyed color.

FDMTL 2019 AW Collection

FDMTL 2019 collection has been unveiled. If you are a denim or patchwork lover, then you have probably heard of FDMTL. Tsuyoshi Gaku founded the brand in 2005. It has become a Japanese label that stands for quality clothing. Its signature design is denim patchwork with stunning Japanese blue.

In their latest collection, they have created a trailer to represent its products and visual identity – by featuring 15 individuals’ living in Tokyo.

The ones to watch in FDMTL 2019 AW collection will be the bomber jacket, which combines the design of a classic MA-1 jacket with traditional Japan blue color. Also, it features FDMTL’s signature Sashiko patterns, patchworks, Jacquard weaving, digital printing and embroidery.

Nike x SACAI LDWaffle will be officially launched on 12th September 2019. The previous collaboration between the two labels was a huge success. And they are renewing the series with new color.

The bases of the LD Waffle are actually Nike’s Daybreak and LDV. However, the LD Waffle combined the shape of the two classic models and feature a doubled-up design – 2 laces, 2 tounges and 2 swoosh. Apart from the doubled Nike swoosh, the most eye-catching part will be the extended midsole.

Over 3,000 years of evolution, scarves has become a popular fashion item. They are available in countless materials, patterns and colors. They are commonly found in wool, cashmere and linen.

Let’s see how you can carry a scarf in 3 different ways:

Parisian Knot

Parisian knot is one of the most common ways to carry it. You can simply fold your scarf into half the width and length. Then form a hole with the folded end and put the loose end through the hole. Then tighten the scarf and it will keep you warm in a nice way.

Drape

The easiest way to wear a scar is drape – simply drape your scarf around your neck without folding or tightening it. More importantly, keep them equal length on both sides! You can wear it with your coat and it will add more color and layers to your outfit. However, drape is more for keeping you fashionable instead of warm.

Once Around

Another common way to wear a scarf is once around. Simply drape the scarf around your neck once without tightening it. You can let either one end longer than the other or keep them even. If you wear a long scarf, you can do twice around – drape the scarf around your neck twice and you will create an inner knot where no one can notice.
