If you travel a lot, especially for short business trips or during a long weekend, you might be interested in a holdall. A holdall has the meaning of “carrying all of your travel items”. And they are usually in rectangular shape, with two handles and a removable strap. Thus, you can either carry it with your hand or shoulder. It has the advantage of light weight and is much flexible than a suitcase. Most importantly, it allow you to travel around stylishly.
The Douglas Holdall
In this Winter season, we have the Douglas Holdall from WANT Les Essentiels. It is a weekender bag with a classy look. The design idea is to carry-all and carry-on from the gym to a weekend getaway.
The bag has the perfect size (11.4′ x 16′ x 7.9′) as it is not too large, so you can even take it to work and hit the gym right after it – with all your clothes and gear tidily kept inside the holdall. This holdall has a classic minimal design from WANT les Essentiels. The body is organic cotton canvas in subtle navy blue, while the bottom and handles are premium leather. It will look neat on both a smart casual or formal outfit.
The removable strap is also in leather and it comes with a WANT les Essentiels metal lock. The key ring has a leather cover and can be tied on the holdall handle.
WANT les Essentiels is famous for their bags’ interior. Even this holdall has four vertical pockets to hold your belongings tidily. And they are fitted with leather button straps. There is even a leather pocket to hold your phone.
At the back of the holdall, there is a hidden pocket with a leather flap for you to put your coins and cards.
Just like every WANT les Essentiels’ bag, it has a YKK Excella bi-color top zipper.
And the base is genuine leather with an engraved logo.
Moreover, the production process is regulated and certified by the Institute for Marketecology (IMO), Switzerland, under Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Organic Exchange 100 standards according to the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) standard. To make it simple – the bag is sustainable and environmental friendly.
