News – Nike Air Max 1 Premium “CHINESE NEW YEAR”

This new Nike Air Max 1 Premium is inspired by the “Chinese New Year Longevity” pattern. You can find these patterns on traditional Chinese tableware like the Double Happiness Bowl and Mi Tong Bowl. They mainly appear in pink, blue, orange and yellow.

It features an embroidery of “double happiness” in Chinese. It is full of Chinese traditional culture in terms of colors, patterns and artwork.

Under the semi-transparent icy blue outsole, you can find a Chinese character stamp that means “Nike Official Kiln”.

The sneaker is released on 17th January 2020.

Adidas x OAMC has teamed up to release a new SS20 collaboration. This time, they have continued to work on the model TYPE 0-1 and TYPE 0-2, which was created by the two labels in 2019 as a hybrid of luxury and performance.

For TYPE 0-2, OAMC’s designer Luke Meier has infused it with heritage court style and rugged outdoors aesthetics.

On the other hand, TYPE 0-1 is based on OAMC Pacific Northwest roots and it is highlighted with a grungy rebellion to adidas’ precise engineering.

CLOT x Nike has released the Rose Gold Silk AF-1 on 21st January 2020. Similar to the previous CLOT x Nike collection, it features CLOT signature pattern all over the silk upper. Yet, the AF-1 is in rose gold this time.

Kering, the French luxury group has announced the release of Balenciaga Koala collection to raise funds for Australia Bushfire. 100% of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to help against the disaster.

The French clothing label Maison Kitsuné has confirmed the departure of its first official creative director, Yuni Ahn. She will leave her current position in 3 seasons.

The South Korean designer was appointed as their creative director in December 2018. She has guided Maison Kitsuné in a decidedly fashion-forward direction.

Still, Maison Kitsuné will be working with Yuni Ahn to complete their “three-season mission”, which is aimed to build the savoir-faire of the brand, advancing silhouette, quality and details within its new Parisian atelier.

Maison Kitsuné co-founders, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki said “We want to thank Yuni Ahn for the significant achievements accomplished over the engagement. We are deeply grateful to her for having set the path for our ambitions and will continue building on these foundations to further grow Maison Kitsuné into the independent Paris fashion house we’re aiming to become.”
